God Answered Prayer

Prayer Update
Thank you for praying for Brad in regard to his lungs. His breathing is much better, and he is feeling stronger. The doctor has released Brad to travel! Glory to God!

We plan to fly to Rwanda in the middle of August. We will be working with our coordinators, church planting trainers, and our church planters. We will be training, encouraging, and praying for our leaders. We also will be bringing them microSD cards that have the Jesus film, Bible stories, and more that will be in their mother tongue. In addition, we will be constructing a training seminar for a couple of days with several church planters, trainers, and more. Our personal favorite part of our job, is visiting the churches that have been planted, and then sharing God’s Word with the church body + village people.

Thank you for praying for this ministry as we serve the Great Lakes of Africa (DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi & Angola). God is blessing in many ways.

For example, a peace treaty was signed between the DRC & Rwanda. Pray that the independent militant groups will stop the fighting within the Congo; this is the major issue we are facing there.
It is because of the war why we have not been able to enter the Congo.
We also ask if you will continue to pray for our support, especially our monthly support?
We would like to be able to make more trips to Africa, and support is one area that will help us do just that.
We are open to speaking at churches, small groups, and ministries that have a heart for missions. Simply contact us, and we can try to work out a schedule so we can come visit with you.
If you can help the Congo people who are suffering from being displaced as they suffer from hunger & homelessness plus, in addition, those that are suffering persecution, you can follow this link here or mail your contributions to this address.

Below photos:

1- Please do not share these photos on any social media & do not forward to emails

2- Starting on the bottom; we see our coordinator and his wife travelling to a remote village where a church has been started, and even more a training center (with 15 church planters).

3- On this river a torrent of wind and waves caused the canoe (powered by motor) to stop working. But, God protected them as they were arrived safely, as they had a successful training and service.

4- Islam is prevalent here. Our people face great danger and persecution.

THE BEGINNING JOURNEY TO HERE...MISSIONARIES TO MOZAMBIQUE

THE BEGINNING JOURNEY OF OUR MINISTRY
Of Missionaries/Pastors: Rev.'s Brad & Daneille Snowden

Almost 30 years ago, our journey together began. It's 'how-we-met,' and it's how we courted by helping start an inner-city ministry in Indianapolis, IN that started with 3 and to this day: thousands have been impacted by God's Love & Hope!
Watch this very short video:
Will you support us monthly? This will truly empower us to be connected with those most visionary of God's people to touch more with His Love and Hope!

FRIEND, WILL YOU WALK JUST ONE MORE MILE WITH ME?

FRIEND, WILL YOU WALK JUST ONE MORE MILE WITH ME?
by Daneille Gray Snowden  Inspired by the Holy Spirit

Many years ago, almost 40 now I was asked by God to do something and be something I truly NEVER wanted to do. Yet, I was crying tears of joy when He asked! For in that moment, He became EVERYTHING to me: the One Who sacrificed His all for me, My source of all joy and peace. The One Who loved me more than anyone!
As this happened, His Heart started beating within me...and each beat of His Heart was:
PEOPLE
From that moment on, MY LIFE HAS NEVER BEEN THE SAME! I was 12 years old.  The journey was not what I thought it would add up to be...yet, the Lord did take me into the life of ministry. Mostly in the place as a Co-Pastor with my husband Brad.

Recently,  in the past 10 months of our lives, God has spent  us around having our family take a HUGE step from Pastoring in the United States to being Missionary Pastors... title is:

'Pastors to the Pastors (& Missionaries) in Mozambique.'

As with anything in life; we all are not meant to do this ALONE. First and foremost; we have Jesus by our side, remember the scripture:
Heb. 13:5 "...for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

Yet, we are to be THERE for one another...always encouraging, affirming, and helping in anyway we possibly can!
Phil. 2:3-5  "Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,"

A speaker at a ministers meeting spoke on the difficulties missionaries face in the journey of simply raising support .  The task itself is phenomenally HUGE! Wise missionary organizations, with years of experience and knowledge have 'SET' a budget for missionaries that secures them in the task God called them to do. Simply said...but truly not simple to do.

This speaker encouraged his fellow pastors to not walk the other way when they see a missionary coming towards them. To answer and return their phone calls and HEAR THEIR HEART!

Many missionaries don't want to ASK for HELP FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT...prayer is easy to ask for...$ IS NOT! It steps on places that seem to be quite sensitive for many reasons.

The speaker shared his stories how when he was a missionary that he faced loneliness as he was pushing toward the MARK OF HIS CALLING. For us, and our friends who are missionaries all concur this is quite the fact.

Matthew 5:41 "And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him two."

A Roman mile is about 1600 yards,  that deals with proportional fatigue, and hardship.  This passage is defined as; “to press into service as a courier” for the royal post." It is: Going Beyond Obligation!

"By law, a Roman citizen or soldier could compel a subject from one of the conquered lands to carry his backpack, or load, for him for one mile, but one mile only. As Jesus was preaching His Sermon on the Mount, I have often wondered if He inserted the reference about the second mile when He saw an object lesson unfolding before Him and His hearers."

"The first mile is required of us, ... it interrupts your schedule!"

Then we HIT that miracle mile that separates certain individuals from others!

"One cannot travel the second mile without influencing others. It only takes one second miler in a home to change the entire environment."

This second mile is 'motivated by the love of Christ'
Remembering this; that Christ took the second mile.

God has been stirring this WORD in my spirit ALL day today, thus I felt led to share it with all who will be not just willing to read but be open to feel our hearts.
Our motivation to serve our Lord is FROM HIM!

We are COMPELLED ..... TO GO the extra mile and carry the GOSPEL OF SALVATION & HOPE TO THE PEOPLE OF MOZAMBIQUE.  We are honored to do this for God's Glory alone!

YET...we cannot do this alone. We need a friend, a brother and sister to come and walk with us not just one mile but that EXTRA MILE too! We were not meant to do this alone; God could whisk us there in an instant...remember Philip?

No, HE chose this method so many would catch the vision; and be burden for the souls in Africa. To see this as an opportunity to be a part of saving their lives from hopelessness to purpose.

When the wallet is released into the Hands of God; to give as He leads...wow; what He will do for all who are involved. From the giver to the receiver to those it multiplies and feeds!

So, I ask;

'FRIEND, WILL YOU WALK WITH ME ONE MORE MILE?' And send us to Africa by committing to some amount of monthly support?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
By clicking this LINK ... in easy steps you will be connected to our missions page.
Here is where simply you fill in the amount the Lord is leading you to support
us to go to minister in Africa.
One time gifts are a blessing.
YET...OUR BIGGEST NEED IS MONTHLY COMMITTED SUPPORT.
Is it $10 a month?
$20? $50? $100 (which is the average)
$77-$80 a month raises our support by one percent.
We are currently at 50% (as of April '17).

ONLY GOD CAN OPEN HIS DOORS

ONLY GOD CAN OPEN HIS DOORS
AND NO MAN CAN SHUT IT...Is. 22:22

Going to Africa from spending 29 years in the ministry here in the United States; I have seen others struggle with the 'open-door' the Lord has laid out for our family.

Have you ever been there? God has led you to do something different than what others anticipated for your life. Question is, should we allow this to HINDER what the Lord is leading?

How do you see yourself?
It is how we IDENTIFY who we are, how we want others to see us and then how we see ourselves. First of all, we must see WE ARE NOT OUR OWN... "know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?"  I Cor. 6:19  Thus, if we identify WHO'S WE ARE...the God of the Universe's CHILD... then we must know His Purpose far usurps our own, and others.

We do tend to want to 'please' others and do our 'duty' per say. Then as we are walking through life, we feel a dryness come, an unfulfilled and  yearning as well. Retrospect then speaks out and brings us back to becoming that zealous warrior God called out years before.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument],And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own];
I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
Jer. 1:5

When people cannot wrap their minds around this NEW path you obeyed to walk on; just point to Jesus and continue. Recognize the hindrance when it comes.

*HINDRANCES of hurt when the one's even closest to you are unsupportive of your call.
*HINDRANCES of others lack of faith, and only see depravity...for it doesn't 'fit-into' the perfect human ideals of working 9-5 retaining a weekly paycheck.
*HINDRANCES from others not doing what would be such a 'help' for you to go forward. [Remember, only God can close and open doors.]
*HINDRANCES of fear: The 'what-ifs' must totally be surrendered and left in order to be able to march on with ease and speed into God's Door of ministry.

Notice how God has prepared you as well is presently preparing you for this 'OPEN DOOR'. He just doesn't throw you out into this new life, and calling without be prepped for it. [As we do not do this to a small baby.] I think of certain prophets in the Bible; how they were raised, especially with the difficulties they grew up in; how that strengthened them to be powerful men and woman of God. Look back, and see this in your own life; it is so true.

Personally, being Pastors all of these past 25 years (and for myself my entire life), being bi-vocational and definitely NOT well-to-do; God prepped us to minister to the Pastors of one of the poorest countries on this planet! My degree is in missions; yet...the path I took (although many times I sure didn't understand) was preparation to identify with my fellow ministers (& their wives).

Along with this; my husband being seriously ill, pushing him in a wheel chair - simply struggling with day to day life. On our missions team there is a ministry for the disabled.

Our church was small, so our girls minister to the children. This birthed a 'LOVE' to minister to kids (i.e.: a calling to children's ministry) for one of my daughters. There is a ministry to children on our missions team in Mozambique.

Another daughter has been on our worship team at

church since she was 11 years old. We lost our pianist and she had to step in. Guess, what...God called her into Music Worship Ministry AND is going to use this in Africa as well.

Do you feel a DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY has opened for you? Always know:
*God will not contradict His Word. -It will be confirmed through His Word and leading.
*It will be a:  " ...good thing given and every perfect gift is from above..." James 1:17
*As it states in Rom. 8:31 "If God is for us, then who can be against us." HE IS FOR YOU!
*Are you saying: "I can't do this on my own." Well, that is good; for the Lord God is a relational God. He wants us to rely on Him-i.e.: Walk of Faith. Thus, He gets the glory, for as we, "LIFT HIM UP, ALL MEN WILL BE ADDED UNTO HIM." Jn. 12:32

Lately, the Lord has been encouraging me to step away
from the 'THINGS FAMILIER - THAT BRING SECURITY'. Into a new realm; a place where God has purposed for me to THRIVE and live out my calling. That means, stepping out, clogging my hearts ears when others do not respond in coming along (joining with us as team members in support). WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Glory to God!!!

Allow me to encourage you to do the same; step out if He is calling you. Trust your loving Father; He's got you...just go forward ONE step at a time.
