God Answered Prayer

Prayer Update Thank you for praying for Brad in regard to his lungs. His breathing is much better, and he is feeling stronger. The doctor has released Brad to travel! Glory to God! We plan to fly to Rwanda in the middle of August. We will be working with our coordinators, church planting trainers, and our church planters. We will be training, encouraging, and praying for our leaders. We also will be bringing them microSD cards that have the Jesus film, Bible stories, and more that will be in their mother tongue. In addition, we will be constructing a training seminar for a couple of days with several church planters, trainers, and more. Our personal favorite part of our job, is visiting the churches that have been planted, and then sharing God’s Word with the church body + village people. Thank you for praying for this ministry as we serve the Great Lakes of Africa (DR Congo, Rwanda, Burundi & Angola). God is blessing in many ways. For example, a peace treaty was signed between the DRC & Rwanda. Pray that the independent militant groups will stop the fighting within the Congo; this is the major issue we are facing there. It is because of the war why we have not been able to enter the Congo. We also ask if you will continue to pray for our support, especially our monthly support? We would like to be able to make more trips to Africa, and support is one area that will help us do just that. POWER OF PRAYING FOR MISSIONARIES

PRAISE THE LORD FOR THE POWER OF PRAYER! “This [continuous supply of oil] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel [prince of Judah], saying, ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of whom the oil is a symbol],’ says the Lord of hosts." Zech.4:6 God anoints our prayers! He truly does, especially when we pray according to His Word (His Will & Way)! Your prayers for Missionaries to Mozambique have been so used for God's Glory. How? *Strength - the road has been long and hard. But, "in our weakness, He is strong!" God's strength has empowered, led and broke through in oh so many ways. *Wisdom- Receiving WISE GUIDANCE from the Holy Spirit; know who to contact and when. *Anointing-  We have traveled across the United States and ministered in many churches. We also have been in homes, on the streets, in community gatherings, the market place, restaurants, and coffee shops -ALL where the Hope of the Gospel was preached! Where we prayed for many; who have to come Christ, healed, called and given Hope to pursue their call. *Supply- In this journey where we have traveled; we started with no avenues of support. That was our first year. Yet, God brought it in miraculously. As my retired Pastor father told us many years ago: "He sent the ravens!" {story of Elijah} Going from no income for over 4 years to this is a true miracle in itself! He has supplied a home for us to live in, gas in our vehicles, clothes, food, personal needs for the children and such. He also has given the INCREASE - "...but God gave the increase." 1 Cor. 3:6  We went from 0% monthly funded to somewhere presently in the 90%+. HALLELUJAH!  G0D LED US TO SET THE TARGET DATE (to be funded). As we took some time to pray, just seeking the Lord about this; we felt strongly to set the date for APRIL 30TH. HIS TIME....HIS WAY...HIS PURPOSE! So, we took the step to announce this. When we did; more support started rolling in. And some still is too! Presently it is April 20th; meaning: 10 more days! We have an incredible amount of peace. Like the first scripture declares - "...it is by HIS SPIRIT...!" EVERYONE ASKS.... "So, when are you leaving?" I tell them our target date GOD GAVE US to be funded is: April 30th. Here is the steps toward leaving: 1) FULLY FUNDED (have to be) 2) BUY AIRPLANE TICKETS (in order to get our Visa) 3) VISA & FBI BACKGROUND CERTIFIED (for residency Visa when we get there). 4) FINALIZED TRAVEL PLANS WITH AGENT 5) LEAVE WE ARE KEEPING QUITE BUSY EVEN NOW UNTIL WE LEAVE! *MINISTRY - Traveling and speaking. Personal one on one meetings. And the phone calls; for support. *PACKING - Oh are we packing! We just unloaded all our large items out and most of our boxes. Now it's odds and ends. We will be giving most of what's left away. *VISITING PARENTS -  They are 87 years old. Read what my father (a retired Pastor)wrote me recently: "We are fully in line with God on your leaving for His work; but it will take a lot of Prayer and His Grace to see you go and be far apart. Maybe, till we meet in Heaven. Doing God's will was never made for Convenience or Comfort, or Family "Togetherness." We all feel the same way, it's not an extended vacation; it's a 'Call of God' to run to the Dying and rescue them from eternal loss. We are trying hard to convince us of that as well." *SAYING GOODBYE - To our family: our son, parents, brother, sister...and dear friends! Saying good bye to the American liberties. To English...lol!  Yet, oh we are so ready to be SPENT UP for Jesus...for the lost...for our hurting pastors in Mozambique! POURED OUT AS A DRINK OFFERING

The month of July ('17) we were blessed to spend 3 weeks at One Mission Society headquarters participating in our CROSS Training.  We were enamored with droves of subjects that quite possibly could have taken the entire summer to learn.
Cross Cultural training; spiritually, socially, politically, and so on were taught. We were instructed on the security factors and how to be prepared for possible persecution and possible death. REAL STUFF!

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for You are with me..." Ps. 23:4

The COST was feeling heavier...but there was something that far out-weighed it all:

THE NEED FOR SOULS TO KNOW JESUS!

It is the thrust we feel as we continue walking this path towards Mozambique. How can we not go? First, because our Loving Father asked us and secondly, the Love we have to give to all the boys, girls, men and woman there!

To make DISCIPLIES...

“God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life,..." Matt. 28:19 

To disciple future Pastors, plus  teach ones already who are pastoring a church. We also will help strengthen, encourage and affirm our missionaries as well.  

Most of Mozambique is children, there is also a great number of the millennial age as well. We know God is taking us to them to be a spiritual mom and dad. As well as a mentor, teacher and friend. 

All of this is our FOCUS! We presently are at the last mile stage. That means a lot of packing, planning, travelling and goodbyes. Our days are FULL! 

Today, I sat in my chair as I was drinking my tea. I just had put down a book I was reading on prayer. I stared outside dazing at the blue sky. I found myself whispering the Name of Jesus; after a few minutes my heart was lifted. I felt so connected with my Jesus; I felt His amazing peace and strength. The nerves were settled down and my vision was plain. JESUS...He is my vision - and because of that; we all are going forth to take Him to the unloved, the poor, the hurting, the wore down and tired!

Revelation 4:2 "At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne."

After a camp meeting missions service this weekend, we will be driving across the country to California. We are bringing our son's car; who is in the Navy, to him. We are praying his car runs smoothly. As we are there we will be ministering at a church as well and visiting family and friends. 

Then we will see our son for a couple days (we are hoping-praying for 'leave-time'). I will hug his neck, kiss him on the cheek, pray with him and walk away. One of the hardest things in my life I will do! I ask for you to pray for us all!

(1) That we get to see him.  

(2) That God will give our entire family His strength and peace when we say goodbye. 

(3) That God will keep my son safe; especially if war does break out. 

Meanwhile, we go to WAR in Prayer! And we put on God's Armor to work and live for Him!

We go with humility, full of love and anticipation to be:

Poured Out To The Mozambican People & Our Missionaries!

"Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all." Phil 2:7

Snowden's April Prayer Initiative

SNOWDEN'S APRIL PRAYER INITIATIVE LINK

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." Ps. 126:5-6

Snowden's travelled to Texas & Louisiana most of the month

of  March. Note the Texas bluebonnets!

PRAYER:

1.) Please do pray for Mozambique - as only 10% of this country are evangelical Christians.

2.) For the Pastors, Missionaries, Christian workers, and the people who serve our Lord; they need protection, provision, encouragement, direction, inspiration, and strength.

3.) Malaria is on the rise (in Mozambique), because of lack of a good diet and medications; this turns fatal.

4.) We are currently almost 50% support raise. We are awaiting the results of some who have come on board with us this past month. [Our support needed: $7700 (medium range) $8000 (high range) per month.]

5.) Pray God's Will on how much individuals, churches and businesses are to monthly support this ministry. - That we all hear His voice clearly and obey.

6.) God's anointing has been so strong in our services. The word, music and alter times have truly been life changing. PRAY that Christ will manifest his miracle working power through us and His Church (here and in Mozambique).

7.) We ask for you to pray that we 'stay' victorious. It can be difficult at times when doors close. Yet, God has done so much! Pray we just SEEK HIM and His Presence and walk in His Spirit.

8.) Pray for Power-Encounters! Everywhere we go and to all we talk to. So many need encouragement, healing and hope.

9.) Pray for 100% support to come. For those who can support at $10 a month to commit, $25, $50, $77, $100, $200 and on...will just fill out the form and take the 'step' forward seeing they have partnered with us leading souls to Jesus in Africa.

10.) Nathan our son in the Navy. His Destroyer Ship is getting ready to ship off around the U.S. to San Diego, after this (so far as we know) he will go to San Antonio for Master's of Arms (police) training. He may also go to officer's candidate school too. Pray God's Will and favor always be his stead. For him to grow closer to the Lord and be a Lighthouse among his shipmates.

11.) Girls; Felecia & Tabitha...strength, grow closer to Jesus, their education and preparation to live in Africa.

12.) We will be leaving our elderly parents who are in their middle 80's (step mom is in her 70's). Please pray for them and us; as we are spending our last months together. For their comfort, and peace.

13.) Pray for the church of Jesus Christ! For revival; to seek Him and walk in accordance to His Word.
